“I don’t photograph what I see. I photograph what I feel.” -André Kértész
The Moment.
It is what us photographers strive to capture and is what makes a good photo extraordinary. Composition & light are equally important, but without that spark – the image will not have the impact like it should. Capturing the moment is all about timing and knowing your subject. Anticipation, preparation….and a little bit of luck.
I primarily choose to use available light as I feel it captures moments in the most honest and organic way possible.
“The world’s most successful people are the best listeners.“ -Paul F. Moloney
Sedona Wedding Photographer – Natural & Unobtrusive Wedding Photography
Authentic Wedding Photography in Sedona, Arizona
Unobtrusive. Natural. Real.
This is the philosophy behind my approach as a Sedona wedding photographer. I believe the best wedding photographs happen when moments unfold naturally. Rather than interrupting or directing every detail, I observe quietly and capture the genuine interactions that make your wedding day truly meaningful.
When a photographer becomes overly involved, the focus shifts away from the couple and their experience. My goal is to allow the day to flow naturally while documenting the emotion, connection, and energy of your celebration.
My background in photojournalism helped shape this style. It trained me to observe carefully, anticipate meaningful moments, and react quickly to capture the unexpected.
The result is authentic wedding photography that reflects the true story of your day.
Your Sedona Wedding Day
Your wedding day is one of the most meaningful experiences of your life, and it deserves beautiful images that you will cherish forever.
As an experienced Sedona destination wedding photographer, I document every important part of your celebration, including:
-
Bridal and groom preparations
-
Couple portraits in Sedona’s iconic red rock landscapes
-
Family and group photographs
-
Ceremony coverage
-
Reception and celebration moments
My photography style blends timeless portraiture with natural photojournalistic candids, creating a collection of images that feel both classic and genuine.
To ensure the highest level of quality and consistency, I personally photograph every wedding. For larger celebrations or extended coverage, a second photographer may be added.

Professional Equipment & Reliability
When photographing weddings, preparation and reliability are essential. I use two professional Nikon digital SLR camera bodies with premium lenses, along with redundant backup equipment to ensure your wedding day is captured without compromise.
Because digital photography eliminates film costs, couples benefit from greater creative coverage and a larger variety of images from their wedding day.
