How long have you been a photographer and how many weddings have you photographed?
I’ve been a professional photographer since 1992 and have photographed over 1,500 weddings and events in Sedona and beyond. Experience matters—and I bring that depth to every wedding I capture.
How many photos do you take, and how many images will we receive?
While it might feel like millions 😊, I typically deliver between 500–1,000 fully edited images depending on your coverage. On average, you can expect about 100 finished images per hour of photography.
Do you work alone or with a second photographer?
Most weddings are photographed solo, which allows for a consistent, cohesive style. However, a second photographer can absolutely be added for larger events, multiple locations, or more complex lighting situations.
Do we own the images?
I retain the copyright as the creator, but you’ll receive a full print release so you can download, print, and share your images freely.
Do you offer slideshows, rush editing, or USB delivery?
Yes—custom add-ons like slideshows, expedited editing, and keepsake USBs are available. Just let me know what you’re looking for and I’ll tailor something to you. Check out this page for more info.
Do you create wedding albums?
Absolutely. I offer beautifully designed, high-quality wedding albums that are made to last a lifetime. Reach out for details and options. Check out this page for more info.
How will we receive our images?
Your images will be delivered via a private online gallery with a password. From there, you can easily view, share, and download your high-resolution files.
Do you shoot in black & white or color?
All images are captured in high-resolution RAW format in color. During editing, I selectively convert images to black & white when it enhances the emotion and storytelling. If you have a preference, I’m happy to accommodate.
Do you retouch all images?
Every image is carefully edited for color, contrast, and overall quality. Additional retouching (like blemish removal or more detailed edits) is available upon request.
What kind of equipment do you use?
I use top-of-the-line professional Nikon camera bodies and lenses, along with Apple-based editing systems and secure, redundant backups to protect your images.
What is your cancellation policy?
Retainers are non-refundable, as they secure your wedding date and ensure availability.
What happens in bad weather?
Sedona weather can be unpredictable, but I’m experienced in all conditions. I’ll always find creative and comfortable solutions—and yes, my white umbrellas have become a bit legendary.
Do you offer off-season discounts?
Occasionally, depending on the time of year and availability. Feel free to ask!
When is payment due?
Full payment is required 30 days prior to your wedding date.
What happens if you’re unable to photograph our wedding?
While extremely rare, in the unlikely event I’m unable to attend, I’ll arrange for a trusted associate or second photographer to step in—ensuring the same high level of quality and professionalism.
If we run overtime, can you stay longer?
Of course. Additional coverage is available at my hourly rate.
