Merry Go Round Rock: It’s a bumpy drive, but the view is worth it! A four-wheel drive is required for the drive up to Merry Go Round Rock, but once you get here you see why it’s such a special Sedona Wedding location. The views are spectacular, even on a cloudy day. There’s no place is Sedona that has the panorama of the red rocks like Merry Go Round Rock.

Photo tip:

Due to the rough and wild nature of this location, a 3 hour minimum booking is required and up to 4 if you want to capture images form both vantage points. It is about a 45 in drive each way and plan enough time to get to the top – at least 1-1.5 hours prior to sunset. In case of any delay we will have plenty of beautiful sunset light to capture those epic photos. Best to plan ahead.

You cannot drive a typical passenger car to this location. High clearance vehicles only. You can rent and drive your own Jeep, but to make the day less stressful I HIGHLY recommend hiring a Jeep company. The Pink Jeep Adventure Tours operate the most comfortable Jeeps with a very professional staff.
